Bhopal GoM to meet today, priority, compensation to victims

The reconstituted Group of Ministers (GoM) on Bhopal gas tragedy will meet in New Delhi today, to address all issues related to the disaster. Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ambika Soni, told reporters on Thursday that the main agenda of the meet would be providing compensation to the victims. The GoM is headed by Home Minister P Chidambaram. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had asked the GoM on June 14 to examine the issue and submit a report within ten days.
