BJP hits at govt over attacking CAG

The BJP today lashed out at the Congress led UPA government for condemning the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) over its calculation in the telecom scam. Talking to reporters today in New Delhi BJP leader, Prakash Javadekar said that the motive of the government is to cripple constitutional bodies and hide its wrongdoings. Javadekar added that the recently auctioned 22 licenses have generated more revenue than in 2008. Meanwhile, defending the Congress Party, its senior leader Rashid Alvi said that there is a conscious effort to mislead the country in regards to the telecom scam.
