BJP scouts allies as exit polls project hung house in UP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday began scouting for allies as exit polls projected a hung house in northern Uttar Pradesh state. BJP is likely to emerge as the third largest party in the state and a potential coalition partner while the Congress party is trailing a distant fourth place in polls. BJP chief Rajnath Singh hoped they would be able to form government with their allies Apna Dal and Janata Dal (United).
