BJP supports Nitish’s remark on secular PM

BJP backed the remark made by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating that the prime ministerial candidate must be a secular person. Deputy chief minister of Bihar and senior BJP leader, Sushil Modi said in Patna today that the Prime Ministerial candidate of the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) should be liberal and acceptable to every section of the society. Speaking to the mediapersons in Varanasi another senior BJP leader, Murli Manohar Joshi too said that the Prime Minister should be non-sectarian.
