BJP worker stabbed, councillor detained

A BJP worker Jai Kishen has been stabbed to death allegedly by a party councillor in the Model Town area of Delhi. Kishen succumbed to his injuries after he was admitted in hospital, later in the morning. The incident took place on late Tuesday night, after Jai Kishen had a heated argument with Madhav Prasad regarding Prasad's re nomination even after his poor performance during his earlier term as councilor. Madhav Prasad, a BJP councilor and candidate for the municipal elections, ward number 71, Sangam Park, has been detained by the Delhi Police for further interrogation.
