The Digital Flight Data Recorder or the Black Box of the crashed Air India Boeing-737 plane in Mangalore was recovered on Tuesday. The crucial missing link in the Mangalore crash, which killed 158 people, was found after the 72-hour search by the Director General of Civil Aviation team. Investigators had on Sunday recovered the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) from the wreckage of the ill-fated flight from Dubai that crashed after overshooting the runway, plunging down a ravine and exploding into flames.
