Boy from Maoist affected area tops IIT entrance exam in Odisha

A student from a Maoist affected Kandhamal district of Odisha, Rakesh Ranjan Nayak has topped the engineering entrance examination to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in the state and has given a new hope to all children in the area. Nayak whose all India rank was 154, hails from an extremely humble family background and his father runs a small shop in the Phulbani village of the district.
