Prime Minister Manmohan Singh gave away the annual National Bravery Awards to 22 children in the Capital on January 24 ahead of the Republic Day anniversary. The awards were given to the children for showing exemplary bravery in the face of adversity. This year the awards were given to four girls and 18 boys out of which four were given the award posthumously.
