BSP MLAs create chaos in UP Assembly

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today created a ruckus in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly over the stampede in Allahabad during the Maha Kumbh Mela that left at least 36 people dead. Shouting anti-government slogans, the BSP MLAs stormed to the well of the House and allegedly disrupted Governor BL Joshi's inaugural speech. The members of the opposition protested when the Governor was addressing the joint session of the House. They shouted slogans while carrying placards and claimed they were protesting against the lawlessness in the state. Targeting the Samajwadi Party government in the state led by Akhilesh Yadav, the BSP members accused it of not handling the stampede case seriously.
