Buddhadeb seeks solving Gorkhaland issue in next tripartite talks

West Bengal chief Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on Sunday expressed hope that the separate state row over Gorkhaland would be progressive and solved in the next round of tripartite talks. Gorkha Janamukti Morcha that is spearheading the agitation for creation of separate state had agreed to an interim council, the Gorkha Regional Authority, till December 31, 2011 prior to the creation of a separate state, during fifth round of tripartite talks with central and state governments held in New Delhi recently.
