Buddhists take out candlelight rally for Tibetans

Buddhists in Dharamshala on Saturday took out a candlelight rally in support of the Tibetan people's struggle against the Chinese repressive policies in Tibet. In the protest march organized by Himalayans Buddhist Cultural Association hundreds of monks, both Tibetans exiles and India Buddhists marched through the streets before assembling in the prayer hall. Meanwhile, the Core Group for Tibetan Cause, an NGO, demanded a more proactive role for the United Nations.
