Caught on camera: College principal brutally beating up students in Bengaluru

A college student made public footage of his principal caning pupils in Bengaluru city. The video, taken from a mobile phone, shows the principal of Bengaluru's Industrial Training Institue (ITI), Padma Raju brutally subjecting his students to corporal punishment inside a classroom. The student, who wished to remain unidentified, said he and his classmates had had enough of the principal's brutality and decided to air the video. He added that lecturers' repeated requests to the principal against corporal punishment had gone unheard. Police said no case had been registered by the student who shot the video, adding investigations into the authenticity of the video were on.
