CBI affidavit on coalgate: Law min won't resign, says Congress

Even as CBI director Ranjit Sinha on Friday filed a two-page affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that the draft status report on the coal scam had been shared with Ashwani Kumar, the Congress-led UPA government has reiterated that there was no question of the law minister resigning over the issue. The opposition that has alleged that the law minister and the Prime Minister's Office suggested changes to the CBI's status report.
