CBI files case against website hacking

Confirming reports of its website being hacked, the Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday said it has registered a case under Information Technology Act. India's central investigating agency said efforts are on to restore the website. On Friday, there were reports that the website of the agency has been hacked. Hackers defaced the website and posted pro-Pakistan slogans on Saturday. The CBI said in a handout that it has come to their notice that the website was defaced in the intervening night of third and fourth December. The hackers identified themselves as "Pakistani Cyber Army".
