CCTV footage | Customer saves physically challenged Mumbai shopkeeper from sword attack

CCTV footage has emerged from Mumbai of a customer rescuing a shopkeeper from assailants. Rajnish Singh Thakur, who is physically handicapped, was attacked with a sword, when the customer sprang on the attacker to save his life. The attack was out of revenge as Thakur had put up posters in May in the Chembur area warning that extortionists were threatening shop owners to make regular payments of Rs. 1,000 to them.Reports said some of the extortionists were arrested but were later released after paying a fine.
