Chennai gets a glimpse of ICC World Cup trophy

Cricket fans caught a glimpse of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup trophy in Chennai on Thursday. The trophy was displayed at a mall for cricket buffs and indeed they were excited to witness the event. Enthusiastic fans clicked photographs of the trophy and expressed their hopes of the Indian cricket team winning this coveted prize in the ensuing World Cup tourney. The tournament, being held in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh from February 19, will attract huge crowds and worldwide television audiences drawn by the best international players competing in 49 matches.
