The Chhattisgarh High Court has fixed February 9 as the next day of hearing of Binayak Sen's bail plea. Addressing media on Tuesday after hearing, Sen's lawyer described the criminal case as fabricated. He added that the widow of a Superintendent of Police who was killed in Maoist attack presented an application in the court appealing against Sen's bail plea. Sen's wife, Ilina Sen, also slammed the judgment of life term given by a Raipur court, saying the state government had planned a plot against her husband.
