Children become carriers for smugglers on Indo-Nepal borders

Uttar Pradesh, November 21 (ANI): In a shocking revelation, India-Nepal border has become a hot bed for food smuggling with young children being used as carriers to evade arrest. At Sunauli border point in Uttar Pradesh, children as young as seven could be seen carrying heavy sacks on their heads, that too on a day-to-day basis. Locals say as many as 200 children were acting as conduits for smugglers, mainly transporting rice and sugar.
