China stresses on strengthening Sino-Indian cultural ties

Mao Siwei, Chinese consul general, on Wednesday said that both India and China need deeper understanding of each other's culture for further strengthening of ties. Mao said this during the unveiling of the bust of a Chinese poet, Lu Xun, in Kolkata, which he viewed as an important landmark in strengthening the cultural ties between the two countries.
