Chinese model of industrialisation not acceptable says Trade Minister

Jairam Ramesh, the deputy Minister for Commerce and Industry ruled out force of power in acquiring land for industrial projects, as was highlighted in a recent tragedy in Nandigram. Ramesh advocated for inclusive economic growth with changes in Indian political and social ways. He said that exclusionary political culture can become destructive. Many strikers blame Wednesday's killings at Nandigram, on the state government.
