CID starts inquiry into Kishenji's death

Amidst speculations over fake encounter of the top Maoist leader Kishenji, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) of West Bengal has initiated an investigation into his killing. Interacting with the mediapersons, Director General of the state CID V V Thambi informed that they are looking into the matter. During the investigation, officials also recovered an INSAS assault rifle, one revolver and few rounds of ammunition from the site. Maoist rebels believe that Kishenji was murdered in a fake encounter on November 24.
