Clashes continue in J&K

Clashes between the security personnel and protestors continued in Srinagar, despite the authorities placing separatist leaders under house arrest. These leaders were preparing to lead protests against what they call attacks on Muslims and an economic blockade by Hindu demonstrators. The delegation is headed by Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, will assess the situation in the wake of the continuing disturbance over the Amarnath land transfer issue.
