Coastal Security increased along West coast

Security has been beefed up at all vital establishments including the famous Somnath Temple in Rajkot district of Gujarat following a terror threat. Indian intelligence agencies say that Lashkar-e-Taiba, a militant organisation, is planning to target iconic buildings and industrial installations in Gujarat and Maharashtra. To strengthen the coastal security, a high-level committee headed by cabinet secretary KM Chandrasekhar had been set up.
