Communists use images of Pink Floyd in poll campaign

Taking inspiration from the revolutionary rock band Pink Floyd, ruling party of West Bengal, the Communist Party of India, has put up hoardings across the state featuring definitive images of the band's final album 'Division Bell' as part of its poll campaign. The hoarding aims to expose CIP (M)'s main rival, the regional Trinamool Congress's two-faced poll alliance. The hoarding depicts Stone Heads by English graphic designer Storm Thorgerson, which is attracting young voters as well as English speaking urban class familiar with the premiere rock band.
