In a major disclosure, Congress spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed said on Tuesday that the party will not compromise on its self-respect while negotiating seat sharing arrangements with regional partners for the upcoming polls in West Bengal. Ahmed made these comments at a news conference in New Delhi, soon after federal Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee held a high-level meeting with regional leaders from the party's West Bengal unit.
