Cong slams BJP; asks for strict actions against Yeddyurappa

Congress today slammed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Karnataka government over the land scam accusations. Speaking to media persons after the adjournment of both houses of Indian Parliament, Congress party spokesperson Manish Tiwari said that BJP must take action against the Karnataka chief, B.S.Yeddyurappa who misused his position to de notify state owned land to favour his sons and son-in-law. Meanwhile, Punjab chief minister, Prakash Singh Badal, defended BJP by saying that the party would take action against its minister after the verification of the charges.
