Congress, DMK formally sign seat sharing agreement

A day after declaring the end of the deadlock, Congress and DMK formally signed the deal on seat-sharing in Chennai on Wednesday. President of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee K. V. Thangkabalu along with DMK president and Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi signed the agreement under which Congress will contest 63 seats. Later, Thangkabalu described the DMK-Congress combine as a 'winning alliance' and hoped it become victorious in the elections.
