Congress questions Amitabh on his stand on Godhra

Congress lashed out at Amitabh Bachchan after the Gujarat Chief Minister Narender Modi spoke in defence of the Bollywood actor. Irked by the Modi's comparison of Congress with Taliban while extending support to Bachchan, Congress spokesman Manish Tiwari asked the brand ambassador of Gujarat Bachchan to clarify his stand on the 2002 Gujarat riots. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) defended Bachchan and accused Congress of ill-treating him.
