Cotton bazaar in Karnataka displays communal harmony

Raviwar locality of Belgauv town in Karnataka is one of the major cotton-producing regions of state and its cotton bazaar witnesses business of more than hundred thousand dollars every season. Located in this market is a shop named AGHAS & AJGAUVKAR that was established in 1885 by Sakharam Ajgauvkar and Md Mohi Uddin Agha. As their names suggest one was a Hindu and the other a Muslim. Today the shop serves as a prefect example of amity that exists between different communities.
