‘Country must work hard to get F1 berth’

Narain Karthikeyan, India's only Formula One driver, on Friday said the country would need to build infrastructure soon if it were to hold Formula One Grand Prix in 2009. Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President Suresh Kalmadi said on Thursday that Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone had made an offer with tough conditions attached, including the building of a race track, to stage a Formula One Grand Prix in India in 2009.
