Court remands Hindu monk for conspiring in blast

A Nasik court on Friday granted police custody for 36-year-old Hindu monk Dayanad Pandey on charges of conspiring in Malegaon blast in September 2006 that killed five people. The court also allowed the police to put the suspect through truth tests. Maharashtra state's Anti-Terrorism Squad has so far arrested ten suspects including Hindu God-woman Pragya Singh in connection with the September 29 Malegaon blast case.
