CPI (Maoist) Commander surrenders, hand over arms

Rajesh Yadav, a sub-zonal commander of outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) surrendered before top brass of the police at Daltonganj in Palamu district of Jharkhand on Wednesday. Also known as Sagar and Kunkun Yadav, he surrendered before the Regi Dungdung, Inspector General of Police, Palamu Range. Yadav said that he left the group on realising the futility of his movement and that would not be able to survive due to increasing number of factions. He also handed over his gun, two magazines and seven cartridges to the police.
