The Communist Party of India (CPI) has questioned the intentions of Congress party-led central government in sanctioning special financial aid of Rs. 12,000 crore to Bihar. Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari, who made the announcement about the aid, rubbished reports that it was an attempt on part of the union to woo the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) presently ruling Bihar along with the BJP.
