Critical gaps exist in India's security system: Shyam Saran

India's former Foreign Secretary, Shyam Saran admitted on Thursday that critical gaps existed in the security system of the country. Saran's comments came soon after three blasts killed at least 21 people and injured 141 in Mumbai. Addressing a seminar organised by the National Maritime Foundation in the Visakhapatnam city, Saran conceded that there were several loopholes existing in India's security strategies.
