Curfew in Srinagar after protester's death

Following the tension that gripped Srinagar, after a 24-year-old man Altaf Ahmad Wani was killed in CRPF troopers' firing, curfew has been imposed in the city to prevent street clashes. Wani, was killed in Saidapora area of Srinagar when Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers opened fire on a mob which allegedly pelted stones on their vehicle. The CRPF men were returning from hospital, where they had donated blood for colleagues injured in yesterday's terrorist attack on a CRPF camp in the city.
