Jammu is slowly returning to normal after the curfew was lifted on Friday from the city and surrounding areas. Authorities had clamped curfew on Thursday in view of high tension following the suicide of an activist of Sangharsh Samiti. Authorities lifted the curfew expecting improvement in the situation, but soon violence erupted in pockets of the city with protesters burning tyres on the streets.
