Curfew has been temporarily lifted in Jammu to allow its residents to shop and stock up on essentials; a day after hundreds of protesters took to streets and clashed with police over the revocation of forestland that was due to the Amarnath Shrine Board. The lifting of curfew came as former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad blamed fundamentalist Hindu and Muslim elements for the violence.
