CWG would proceed well: Pakistan High Commissioner

Shahid Malik, Pakistan High Commissioner to India in New Delhi on Friday expressed hopes that the ensuing Commonwealth Games would be held as per schedule and the contingent from across the border is keen to participate in it. However, he refused to comment on certain controversies surrounding the preparations for the mega event. The Suresh Kalmadi-led Commonwealth Games Organising Committee has been under scrutiny after Central Vigilance Commission had found irregularities in several Commonwealth Games related works being carried out by civic and construction agencies.
