Cyclone alert to parts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh

A cyclone alert has been sounded in various parts of India's southern coastal states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu after a deep depression in the Bay of Bengal Sea seems to have intensified into a severe cyclonic storm. The storm is expected to bring rain and thundershowers at most places in north coastal Tamil Nadu state, Puducherry, and south coastal Andhra Pradesh.
