Cyclone Laila leaves Andhra fishermen worried
Updated on May 23, 2010 09:35 pm IST
Families engaged in fishing at the port city of Visakhapatnam are among the worst hit by the cyclone Laila that lashed the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh. The worst sufferers have been the fishermen who would venture out into the high seas in a group of four to five in a single boat and share the catch. Even though cyclone Laila has weakened, fishermen are still a worried lot since it is reportedly moving towards Orissa and West Bengal.
