Visakhapatnam, Nov 06 (ANI): Hit by cyclone Nilam, the southern coastal Andhra Pradesh is now reeling under the after-effect of it. Incessant rainfall flooded residential areas and washed away railway tracks in the state. On Monday, locals in Visakhapatnam and on its outskirts braved heavy rains that swelled rivers and flooded houses and farmlands. Locals were seen coming out of their houses in search of safe shelters. The death toll has risen to 28 after four children were electrocuted in the West Godavari district.
