Dalai Lama is an honoured guest: India

Dismissing China's objections to the Dalai Lama's meeting with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, India's Foreign Minister SM Krishna on Saturday said that the Dalai Lama is an honored guest of India. Addressing reporters in New Delhi along with his Japanese counterpart, Katsuya Okada, Krishna maintained that the Dalai Lama was a spiritual leader to millions of Indians and that the matter should not be politicised.
