Dalai Lama reiterates demand for autonomy

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Wednesday reiterated demand for autonomy for Tibet. Dalai Lama on a two-day visit to southern India delivered a talk on 'Peace and Happiness' at the Madras University Centenary Auditorium on Wednesday. He later spoke to the reporters and said he is not seeking separation of Tibet and described it his "Middle Way" approach. Dalai Lama added that at present Tibet is backward and demanded modernized Tibet.
