Delhi Lokayukta indicts Sheila Dikshit

Delhi Lokayukta Manmohan Sarin on Wednesday indicted Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for misuse of public funds in government advertisements, for political purposes in an election year. The Lokayukta has further recommended the President to advise Dikshit to reimburse 11 crores as half the cost incurred by her government for putting out the advertisements. Back in 2008, Dikshit held charge of the Department of Information and Publicity of the Delhi government.
