Demons worshipped at a festival in HP

Hindus worshipped mythological demons along with Gods in a unique festival in Himachal Pradesh. "Phagni", as the five-day festival is called, was celebrated recently to mark a compromise between Gods and Demons after the war. The locals in Naggar in Kullu district, where the festival was celebrated said, Demons are worshipped to ward off bad luck to the villagers.
