Dense fog, cold wave hits capital Delhi

People in northern India shivered as a cold wave continued to sweep across the region on Saturday. National capital New Delhi has been affected due to the chilled atmosphere in the adjacent states. With thick fog engulfing the entire capital, commuters and travellers alike are facing many problems, as trains and flights are running far behind schedule. Meanwhile, in Noida, a bus met with an accident due to poor visibility in the foggy climate, leaving several people seriously injured.
