Deputy CMO found dead in UP jail, family demands CBI probe

Accused in the murder of his senior, Deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Yogendra Singh Sachan, was found dead late evening on Wednesday by prison authorities at a District Jail in Lucknow. Sachan was found hanging in a toilet of the jail hospital. He was arrested on April 22 by local police authorities for plotting the murder of his senior, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Family Welfare, B.P. Singh in the city. Condemning misleading statements by the police officials, Sachan's kin have demanded CBI enquiry in his death.
