Chief of Maharashtra, Vilasrao Deshmukh on February 4 assured action against the guilty of ethnic violence that rocked Mumbai as activists of the regional Maharashtra, Navnirman Sena went on a rampage on the streets of Mumbai, destroying hoardings and setting them on fire. Earlier MNS Chief, Raj Thakarey's comments on a North Indian traditional festival had incited protests and violence in the city.
