As Opposition continued to target government on the Dantewada massacre, Home Minister P Chidambaram said the government will fight the Maoists through calibrated police action and development of areas affected by the left wing extremism. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Chidambaram gave details of the April 6 Maoist attack in which 76 security personnel lost their lives in Chhattisgarh. He said an inquiry committee instituted to probe the incident will submit its report in two weeks.
