Direct transfer of kerosene subsidy to be discussed: Reddy

Direct transfer of Kerosene subsidy in cash instead of current practice of subsidizing the fuel topped the agenda of the meeting of the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGOM) on Monday in New Delhi. Central minister for Petroleum and Natural Gases, Sudini Jaipal Reddy informed media persons after the meet that different state governments would be consulted over this aspect. He said that talks on rising LPG prices would be held in the next meeting.
